Throughout her early career, Joyce Randolph was no stranger to show business. She originally started on the stage, even landing a leading role on Broadway! Every theater actor and actress aspires to make it big on Broadway, and through hard work and passion, Joyce managed to achieve something that not everyone can experience.

After her debut on Broadway, however, was when she was spotted by agents and cast for the role of Trixie Norton in the iconic sitcom, The Honeymooners. Fame surely knew how to stick to and with Randolph as she remained a popular household name throughout the years. Today, Joyce is enjoying life in retirement, most likely reflecting on the successes of her career!

Max Baer JR. - 1937

You might remember this legend as Jethro Bodine, Jed Clampett's silly little nephew from The Beverly Hillbillies. Max Baer Jr. is actually one of the last remaining cast members of the show who is still alive! Throughout the rest of his career, Baer stayed within the film industry until the early 90s where he made a big career change and made a substantial investment in real estate.

He went onto the gambling industry and established Hillbillies-themed slot machines in numerous casinos before purchasing land to build his own hotel. It's been quite an unusual turn of events in terms of his career, but we can't complain because Max seems to be doing well for himself. We are anxiously awaiting to see what happens with his developmental plans while we re-watch his episodes of our favorite show.

Michael Nesmith - 1942

Robert Michael Nesmith is a well-known American musician, actor, producer, and songwriter. He will, however, always be remembered as an integral member of The Monkees, a popular rock band, and also for his portrayal in "The Monkees", which was a popular 1966 television series. Nesmith happens to be the executive producer of Repo Man, a 1984 cult film and also won a Grammy for Elephant Parts, a TV show.

He recently just underwent a quadruple bypass heart surgery, but his recovery went smoothly as planned and he is already back at it. At 75, he is still active and even going on tour with the remaining bandmates he has! It seems he doesn’t want to take up a retirement until the day he breathes his last breath. We are proud of you, Michael!

John Cleese - 1939

John Marwood Cleese is an Academy-Award nominated & Emmy Award-winning English comedian actor. He is most popularly known for co-finding and acting in Monty Python, the comedy troupe that no one could get enough of when it first started. It is still a timeless classic and often referenced today! He also tasted success at the popular Edinburgh Festival Fringe and also garnered heaps of praise and acclamation for being a performer and a scriptwriter for the satirical TV show, The Frost Report.

Just for fun, John Cleese has also lent his voice in the Shrek film franchise, and we love him for that. He has got hitched four times in his life but had to hire a divorce lawyer in three of them. John is famous for being the co-founder of The Secret Policeman’s Ball benefit programs to organize funds for Amnesty International. He is all of 79 now but never ceases to surprise us with his energy and knack for comedy. He surely knows how to make people laugh effortlessly!

Wallace Shawn – 1943

Wallace Shawn is the kind of actor whose cameos in films and TV series can instantly make it that much better. The Princess Bride, Dinner With Andre and Clueless are only a few of the iconic movies that Shawn has starred in. He's also lent his voice in a few animated movies. It's so easy to know that it's Shawn playing a character because his voice is so distinctive! Shawn's career, however, extends further than film, as he is a playwright and essayist as well.

In terms of his higher education, he graduated from none other than the esteemed Ivy League, Harvard University, which says a lot about the choices and investments he's made in life. He is still active within the arts community today and we doubt he will ever need a retirement home.

Philip Baker Hall - 1931

The American actor carved a niche for himself when portrayed Richard Nixon in Secret, a 1984 film by Robert Altman, Sydney Brown in the 1996 thriller, Hard Eight, and Arthur Pratt in the 2005 film, Duck. He completed his community college, initiated his acting career on TV, and joined the esteemed Los Angeles Theater Center before making a foray into films.

Hall’s other significant films include The Truman Show, The Rock, and The Zodiac. He has had to work hard to be where he is today, and the adoration and respect that he receives from fellow Hollywood stars and fans around the world is well-deserved. While he isn't as active as he used to these days, he does have a $750K net worth to help him tide through the rest of his life.
