Most people say that he is a war veteran and spent his retirement years at home. He also didn't have a family. But it still did not answer the question, what made him eat the same food every day?

Mr. Doug's favorite food was a roast beef slider with swiss cheese complete with a Coca-Cola with no ice, and he had this for lunch every day. Christina, one day couldn't stop herself from asking the question to Mr. Doug.
