Since Borskys are intelligent, they are easily trained but can sometimes tend to be stubborn. They have great hunting abilities and can be quite aggressive, especially when overly excited. Shedding is another issue when the Borsky is overheated. Hence, be sure that you regularly brush its coat every day to avoid too much shedding. Borskys lifespan is much longer than their parents which is quite surprising for a mixed breed.
Frenchton (Boston Terrier and French Bulldog)
Another interesting mix is Frenchton. Born out of the combination of Boston Terrier and French Bulldog, this mix is another cute and tiny pet dog that is best for single people and those living in small spaces in the city. With a height of not higher than 16 inches, it also appears with a flat face, round head, and snubby nose. It loves cuddling and aims to please its owner most of the time. It is very sociable and energetic as well.
They usually need daily walks in order to release some of their excess energy. Training and teaching them is not a problem as they can cope and learn with ease. But just like other dog breeds, they also hate being left alone for a long time. They destroy things when distressed and left alone that is why they need to be taken to daycare or be left with a dog walker, especially if you know that you won’t be able to come back home early.
German Chow (German Shepherd and Chow Chow)
Also known as the Chow Shepherd, this is a mix of the German Shepherd and Chow Chow breed. It is a very playful and energetic dog that needs a lot of space, time and owner’s attention. It normally weighs around 40-90 lbs and has a height of around 26 inches. They have thick and fluffy coats which can be tan, white, brown, black, blue and red. Some have a combination of colors on them. If you consider having this as your pet, then make sure that you have enough space and time to take care of them. They are not suitable for senior people as they can be high maintenance.
German Chows should be trained and socialized at a young age in order to prevent it from having aggressive behavior to strangers and other pets. They are filled with energy and are pretty smart that is why training will not be difficult. However, they are also prone to having separation anxiety which means that they can’t be left alone for long.
